The Nuits des Forêts Festival

Every year, the Nuits des Forêts festival gathers in all the forests of France events open to the general public: nature experiences, collective actions in the forest, shows, artistic works, evening events and sharing of knowledge and know-how by foresters, wood professionals, committed actors or scientists…

Initiated by the association Coal founded by Lauranne Germond, this festival takes place during 10 days in more than 150 forests in France.

2022 edition

In June 2022, Greenline Foundation participated for the first time in the festival. The wood of Fontainebleau was the setting for a weekend of a dreamlike sculpture path signed by Sarah Valente for the festival Les Nuits des Forêts.

This in situ work called La Caverne paid homage to and revisited the myths and legends of primitive peoples linked to forests. At night, the ultraviolet lights revealed a thousand and one patterns and immersed visitors in another relationship to the forests, the one that some insects like bees have

We were delighted to be able to share with you these moments suspended in time in the heart of this thousand-year-old forest and look forward to see you again for new performances
