CASA FRANCA: opening of Greenline Foundation headquarters

Greenline Foundation’s headquarters, Casa Franca, is a responsible building that serves as a political and poetic manifesto initiated by Sarah Valente, artist and founder of Greenline Foundation, and built by Déchelette Architecture firm. This 6-year project opened its doors for the first time on March 20, 2024.

House of art(ists)

For its opening, Casa Franca welcomed over 200 art world professionals, including several of the artists behind the floor-to-ceiling inlays.

In addition to the artists’ presence, visitors could enjoy a sound installation by DJ and producer Colin Johnco, and take part in a collective work of art in the form of plant footprints created by artist-photographer Andrey Zouari.

From breakfast to lunch to afternoon tea, the day was punctuated by a 100% plant-based culinary proposal devised by Studio Mekla

The Greenline Foundation team was proud to share this space which, beyond being a simple workspace, embodies our commitment to the environment with its wooden framework and raw earth facade from a short-circuit economy (more information on the dedicated page).
